What you’ll do:  

As an Equifax Internal Disputes Officer, you would be part of a small team of service focused professionals. Communicating with key stakeholders. Eager to investigate and resolve complex consumer or commercial credit bureau matters plus respond to product issues in a timely manner. Our Complaints team is dedicated to the expert management of complaints which are received via email, webform, letter or from the call center. Be prepared to write detailed resolution emails as well as being comfortable to pick up the phone and discuss the matter with the necessary parties to allow for a speedy resolution. Although the work is autonomous there is a strong team environment with complete training and support.

What are we looking for?  

● Customer service experience in a corporate environment 

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

● Proven ability in investigating complaints - confident in picking up the phone, have an inquisitive mind for ease of resolution 

● Demonstrated ability to work autonomously 

● This role comes with full training 

Extra points for any of the following: 

● Background in finance, complaints or collections 

● Understanding of the Privacy Act and Credit Reporting Code
