Automation Engineer


The Automation Engineer will help with software & systems engineering, build & run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems, improve platform reliability and performance, and engineer solutions to solve operational problems.

What you will do

  • Contribute as an Automation Engineer focused on automation, modernization, and reliability of high-scale systems.

  • Be responsible for building, automating, and supporting application and infrastructure deployment services that target Equifax’s Public Cloud Environments.

  • Design and implement monitoring and self-healing processes. 

  • Design and implement orchestration/workflows that integrate multiple services to provide self-service fully automated services.

  • Utilize engineering and programming skills focused on enabling a DevOps model.

What experience do you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Management or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience using CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus Maven, and JIRA/Confluence. 

  • 1+ years experience with configuration management and automation (Terraform, Chef)

  • 1+ years of experience deploying and managing infrastructure on public clouds (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

  • 1+ years of experience working on Kubernetes and other related applications.

  • 2+ years of experience developing applications using Python, JAVA Groovy, NodeJS, and Linux environments (CentOS, RedHat).

  • English proficiency B2/C1
