Product Director for Technology: Sales, Marketing, Contact Center, and HR Solutions

As a Product Director at Equifax in our Corporate Services Alliance, you will partner with business, technology, and operational leaders to define the vision and roadmap for the products in our product families.  You will lead work entry efforts and represent business partners to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs, so that business and/or technical delivery teams can build effective solutions.  

What you’ll do

  • You will create and maintain the product roadmap for technologies that support corporate functions such as Sales, Marketing, Contact Centers, HR, and Legal

  • You will lead strategic/annual planning, prioritization, and business case creation

  • You will drive clarity of adoption plans and adoption metrics for your products

  • You will drive quarterly planning and identifying and validating dependencies

  • You will capture the voice of your customers and work with your teams to act on the feedback and/or incorporate it into the product/roadmap

  • You will help establish and track unit cost for your products

  • You will seek cross alliance collaboration and prioritization on solutions

  • You will maintain your product hierarchy in a Global Catalog of products and services

  • You will engage directly with Product Owners to ensure they are executing on projects

  • You will lead partner meetings to find opportunities and product priorities

  • You will develop communication materials and lead communication efforts around the product, priorities and future roadmaps

  • You will work with key stakeholders to drive innovation and efficiency

  • You will resolve strategic issues that may impede team’s ability to meet their goals

What experience you need 

  • BS or MS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required  

  • Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience across product management, product development, product owner, and/or technology solution delivery roles.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience owning a product and it's capabilities

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience translating customer business needs into product roadmap features

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience owning product strategy, to prioritize investment, create the business case for your products, and to articulate the business value through delivery. ​​

What could set you apart

  • You have experience working with Agile Delivery Teams, utilizing Agile / Scrum / Kanban.

  • You have experience in similar business product services and/or external customer/market experience

  • You have experience with Salesforce.com, Workday, or similar technologies that support corporate functions

  • You are able to work collaboratively with multiple development teams and you are passionate about technology.

  • You have the ability to comprehend both technical and business topics to recommend options and solutions.

  • You are an articulate communicator - both speaking and writing – and in a variety of styles including legal, business requirements and marketing

  • You have developed training and go to market materials

  • You are comfortable presenting judgment decisions to stakeholders
