Agile Scrum Master


Equifax is seeking creative, high-energy, diverse and driven Agile Scrum Master to work on a variety of meaningful projects across our Managed File Transfer (MFT) teams within our Data Fabric / Decision Science (DF/DS) Alliance. You will be responsible for ensuring the team lives agile values and principles. Our Scrum Master positions provide you the opportunity to join a team of talented colleagues working with leading edge technology. 

What you’ll do

  • Participates in backlog grooming and sprint commitments (as needed) to ensure that the right capabilities are developed

  • Work with three Managed File Transfer (MFT) squads/leaders, business analysts and product managers to ensure that business objectives are understood in the features and user stories to be developed

  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions in the MFT space. Support product owners in developing, maintaining and grooming product backlog

  • Remove impediments/blockers in order to keep teams highly productive. Identify and manage dependencies with other internal or external teams

  • Provide metrics and status to senior management and P&E leaders as needed

  • Mentor team members on Agile/Scrum best practices and ensure the development teams are practicing the Agile principles and SCRUM Best Practices

  • Oversees strategic plans

  • Act as a liaison between business units and MFT related requirements that come through Aha! 

  • Reports on project / program progress, offers viable solutions and identifies opportunities as they arise

  • Implements change practices

  • Lead meetings and set expectations for project team

  • Works with SREs to ensure applications / systems from a security standpoint are compliant 

  • Track metrics of team progress and productivity.   

What experience you need 

  • BS or MS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required  

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager across technology projects and multiple lines of business and technical discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing in Agile environments using Agile software development methodologies, specifically Scrum, Lean or Kanban

  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing product backlogs and requirements for Agile delivery teams

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and/or managing roadmaps for complex products/projects.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with requirements management systems such as Aha! and/or JIRA

  • Experience working with Managed File Transfer ( MFT ) technology

  • Experience using COTS based products

  • Experience in Security related work (such as supporting vulnerability management, patching, supporting internal and external audits..etc) or implementing security products 

  • Experience in writing detail and comprehensive user stories

  • Any digital transformation related experience

  • Experience in working Cloud (GCP preferably) related projects

  • Experience working in CRA or Fintech industry
