VP, Business Insights & Analytics - Direct to Consumer

What you'll do

  • Responsible for the consumer data ecosystem; data management and stewardship of data D2C creates/own/ingest. Accountable executive for D2C data and its accuracy, integrity and quality

  • Conduct and communication strategic analytics to guide the D2C business direction, enhancing profitability. 

  • Managing the technology and tools around how to surface the data into insights 

  • Manage suites of business intelligence reports to measure business performance while creating advanced solutions (BI, models) to drive insights and new profitable actions.

  • Accountable executive for accuracy, integrity and quality of D2C data, deliver analytical and commercial solutions for internal and external customers.  

  • Combine business requirements and existing process and data knowledge to create analytical solutions through third party data providers around marketing, channel and product performance. 

  • Deliver strategies on capturing target consumers using segmentation methods  

  • Lead a team of data and analytics professionals responsible for performing analysis of multiple data sources using statistical analysis and computer science to solve business problems and drive profitable growth

  • Guide the marketing, product & revenue leader in order to enable better decision making

  • Support prioritization efforts with the product and the technology team. 

  • Accountable for data ecosystem, data roadmap, data stewardship, and data capture for the D2C business.  

  • Work in partnership with business leaders in product, marketing and CX to understand and deliver usable data that will translate into business decisions and insights

  • Partner with Product to prioritize technology investments

  • Partner with third party data providers data around marketing, channel and product performance

  • Define business intelligence business case surrounding the D2C through marketing data insights, advanced analytics and AI

  • Support, in conjunction with SLT, D2C initiative business case development around business intelligence

  • Lead the D2C  monthly forecast cycles and on going variance reporting

  • Lead churn reporting and product profitability analysis; share insights with product leaders encouraging shifts in strategies where appropriate

  • Lead classification of customer segmentation and profiling for enhanced market targeting enabling revenue growth. 

  • Lead the creation of digital insights and customer engagement metrics

  • Manage the test and learn data and analytic capabilities around products and services as well as the suite of business intelligence reports to measure business performance.

What experience you'll need

  • Minimum 10 years of statistical data & analytics experience.

  • Previous experience with cross-functional cloud technology preferred

  • Minimum 5 years experience with marketing tools relative to digital marketing, digital segmentation.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders without having a formal reporting relationship - including the ability to exert virtual influence across the enterprise

 

What could set you apart

  • Masters degree in Data Sciences, Business, Technology or related discipline

  • Experience in regulatory product, industry or business unit leadership

  • Direct to consumer product experience (D2C)

  • AI knowledge; familiarity with AI tools and how they are used to drive data analysis, gain insights and better decision making in a fast and efficient manner

  • Ability to act and think as a data and analytics GM
