Job Summary 

 

Equifax Enterprise Innovation Office is seeking a Data Scientist who can integrate diverse big data assets into analytical solutions under management guidance to solve difficult business problems. 

  What You’ll Do: 

  • Be an integral part of the Data Science Lab team that works closely with internal clients in all phases of prototype development.

  • Integrate diverse data sources, data types and data structures into solutions

  • Develop analytical approaches to meet business requirements; this involves translating requests into use cases, test cases, preparation of training data sets and iterative product development

  • Research innovative data solutions to solve real market problems.

  • Deploy innovations, including AI/ML techniques, for predictive analytics.

  • Mine Big Data and other unstructured data to tap untouched data sources and deliver insight into new and emerging solutions.

  • Remain current on new developments in data analytics, Big Data, predictive analytics, and technology.

What experience you'll Need:

  • Master’s degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or similar quantitative field

  • 3+ years’ experience applying predictive analytics and modeling to solve business problems

  • 3+ years’ of experience with Python, SQL, and Spark

  • 1+ years’ experience analyzing large (multi-TB to PB), complex data sets for consumer or commercial data

  • Any experience or academic degree coursework with machine learning and artificial intelligence

What could set you apart: 

  • Strong communication skills of analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences alike

  • Experience working in GCP or other cloud analytics platforms is a plus.

  • Ph.D. degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or similar quantitative field
