Data and Analytic Strategy Execution Specialist

Equifax is looking for a Data and Analytic Strategy Execution Specialist to join our world-class Global Identity and Fraud D&A team.  The team supports the D&A team in enabling the build of the next generation of analytic solutions. 

You will be working in a dynamic environment, where we embrace moving quickly to design the strategy, identify the roadmaps and support the execution of the data and analytics roadmap strategy D&A Identity and Fraud.  In this exciting role, you will apply your functional expertise working across analytic, product and technology domains to design and enable execution of data and analytics strategy. In this role you will be responsible for interpreting BU/COE data and analytics roadmap strategy and development of key roadmaps to guide cross-team work from the perspective of D&A projects.

The candidate should have a desire to learn new concepts and have the ability to work in a cross matrixed, collaborative and evolving organization. The role is currently an individual contributor role.

What you’ll do

  • Gather requirements from BU/COEs for data and analytics strategy and develop key roadmaps to guide cross-team work from the perspective of D&A projects.

  • Work with D&A Leadership to clarify and communicate business priorities, key analytic requirements to and from various stakeholders such as Product, Sales, Technology to ensure proper execution frameworks are in place for key D&A initiatives.

  • Work alongside D&A and across our partners in Planning and Execution to identify roadmaps, timelines and blockers to enable effective execution of strategic D&A projects and initiatives.

  • Apply a strong Product focus, to support the D&A team in proactively tracking and reporting of the Strategic D&A KPI’s such as revenue enablement, data and cloud cost flows across projects and deployed assets etc.

  • Support preparation of content for various D&A communications such as strategy playbook, senior leadership presentations, quarterly business review decks etc. that drive BU growth, insight and transformation initiatives.

  • Execution of strategic roadmap successfully through collaboration, communication and negotiation of outcomes in a timely manner is key to success in this role.

  • Strong Verbal and written communication and presentation skills of performance metrics to LT teams.

  • Mentoring and educating other teams around proper use and applications of the data and analytic assets. 

What experience you need

  • Must have 5+ years of experience applying analytics to solve fraud/risk in financial services, payment, ecommerce or related areas

  • Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Business, Analytics, Finance or other related discipline

  • 2+ years of experience working in Agile environment and with cross-disciplines including Data Engineers, IT Architects, Operations, Product, Sales, Marketing and other Business representatives

  • Good presentation and communication skills and comfortable with working with Leadership team 

  • In-depth knowledge and experience needed to operate independently with limited guidance and oversight

  • Good understanding of high-level data architecture, data models and user flow patterns

  • Project oversight, project management and client facing experience 

  • Comfortable  with ambiguity and ability to work through vague requirements with minimal oversight and process
