Security Engineer (intermediate)


Job Summary 

  Equifax is looking for a  Security Engineer who will participate in the design, implementation and maintenance of security applications. This candidate should be able to work from our Alpharetta, GA Office location.


What you’ll do

  • Troubleshoot at the application and database level and handle day-to-day user and application setup questions at an intermediate to complex level.

  • Implement and monitor security policies and controls for security projects to ensure protection of sensitive data and systems

  • Install and configure security measures and applications

  • Ensure that all security policies are followed and that information and systems are secure.

  • Follow procedures used to implement recommendations from technology security risk assessments and compliance audits.


What you'll need:

  • 3 yrs of experience in networking and or infrastructure

  • 1+  years of experience in insider threat analysis or vulnerability assessment or Incident response.  

  • 1+ years of  experience working with key security technologies like OAuth, SAML, etc.


What will set you apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or  related areas

  • Relevant security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA or others.
