AWS Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. The Cloud Engineering team designs and builds public cloud solutions globally at Equifax. We automate project creation, IAM, networking and everything in between.

We’re a tight-knit group of like-minded individuals with a wide variety of technical backgrounds and experience ranging from software engineering to enterprise architecture. We believe everything should be automated and everything can be done with code.

What you’ll do

  • Implement secure and scalable solutions in AWS for various technical teams.

  • Work with the Cloud Platform Engineering Team on the strategy, design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of Kount’s Cloud (AWS) platform.

  • Build CI/CD automation to deploy infrastructure and application changes to multiple environments.

  • Provide guidance and technical excellence mentoring to a cross-functional team of software engineers, QA engineers, and machine learning engineers.

  • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation.

What experience you need  

  • BS or Associate's Degree/Technical Certification or equivalent job experience required.

  • 4+ years of expertise in AWS, EC2's, RDS, DynamoDB.

  • 2+ years of experience with large-scale Terraform and Cloudformation deployments.

  • 5+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably in AWS/Elastic Kubernetes Service.

  • 2+ years of experience with continuous integration and delivery.

  • 5+ years of proficiency with Linux administration and troubleshooting and scripting with Bash and/or Python.

What could set you apart

  • Experience in the Financial Industry or Ecommerce.

  • Experience with Golang, gRPC or Protobuf.

  • Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
