Commercial Contracts Operation Specialist


The Commercial Contracts Operation Specialist is a member of the USIS Commercial Operations department and supports the USIS Commercial Sales team by providing expertise in drafting pricing exhibits.  This role will assist and coordinate the execution of new deals while also maintaining ongoing records of contract assignments and participating in ongoing process improvement initiatives.   

What you’ll do

  •   Maintain the commercial contract repository

  • Directs and manages projects including facilitating and consolidating multiple sources of information into a comprehensive contract inclusive of all stakeholder input

  • Negotiates customer contracts

  • Contributes to and may lead process improvement initiatives

  • Support monthly close responsibilities for billing commercial revenue

  • Maintains the commercial contract repository

What experience you need 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in contract negotiation or other related experience

  • Minimum of 1 years in roles dealing with legal principles and procedures

What could set you apart

  • Certificate from ABA approved paralegal or legal studies program 

  • Experience supporting corporate legal team or sales teams
