What you will do:


The role of Senior Front-End Developer will be responsible for the production and maintenance of the Equifax A/NZ suite of marketing websites. The role will work closely with Digital, Marketing, Product and Technology teams in producing best of breed websites for both B2B and B2C products and audiences.

It’s a fast-paced role which will require you to flex your strong organisational and prioritisation skills and bring your creative solutions to interesting and challenging problems.

Currently Equifax A/NZ is undergoing a digital transformation and migration to the cloud, and the role will be vital in moving towards an always-on web environment, with the leading standards in security, data protection and privacy practices our customers expect. The role will be the ambassador to promote and implement best practices and help set direction for the technology and security of our web environment and development standards.


What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years front end development experience in a similar role

  • Demonstrate experience working in greenfield projects in large commercial environments

  • Deliver responsive, WCAG and cross-browser compliant web experiences

  • High level of CSS skills including pre-processors (SASS or LESS)

  • Apply on-site SEO best practices and work with tools such as SEMRush and BrightEdge

  • Experience working with Drupal CMS (knowledge of Sitecore or Squiz Matrix is highly desirable)

  • Experience working with PHP, PHP unit testing and templating languages

  • Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, GIT,  API, integration 

  • Understanding of agile environments and project management tools such as Jira

  • Prepare documentation for technical maintenance

  • Familiarity with marketing tech and automation platforms such as Eloqua, Responsys, A/B testing, Google Analytics, etc

  • Can-do attitude with a growth mindset

  • Strong communication skills developed working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
