Business Analyst

The Business Analyst position is responsible for leading D2C operational analytics and root cause analysis for data anomalies. This individual will drive proactive identification of data outliers and their cause, along with support reactive requests for discovery of data drivers. 

This position will partner across internal operational teams to identify business insights to drive optimization and change. Additionally, this position will aid in strategic discovery and support of initiatives that result in operational improvements.


What You Will Do

  • Drive proactive business/data insights to highlight operational areas of improvement.

  • Identify data outliers or abnormalities and lead root cause analysis to determine drivers.

  • Perform ad-hoc data reporting/analysis requests to support business needs.

  • Lead analysis in support of strategic playbook or key initiative efforts.

  • Identify opportunities for business improvements and optimization, including recommendations for automation.

  • Create reporting dashboards and other visuals to provide data intelligence and showcase insights.


What education / experience you need  

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a data rich environment

  • Experience with cross-functional teams and translating business requirements into analytical execution

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information concisely with supporting data

  • Ability to communicate with both business and technical teams

  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of Equifax Systems and Data (ACIS, ACRO, CCMS, Genesys, Salesforce, Siebel)

  • Experience with Looker, Tableau, Spotfire and other tools

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment

  • Self-start, work independently and demonstrate an owner’s attitude towards our most important and complex data
