Python Developer

Equifax is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Python development skills to join the MLOps team in USIS D&A. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent skill and maturity to lead, be self-motivated as well as team-oriented, and have the ability to support the development and implementation of end-to-end ML-enabled software solutions to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Apply software engineering rigor and best practices to machine learning, including CI/CD, automation, etc.

  • Analyze/profile and optimize python based machine learning model code for scalability and performance.

  • Build automation and tooling to optimize engineering process and efficiency (model packaging, pipeline, administration, etc.)

  • Lead model deployment including validation, performance testing and troubleshooting platform issues.

  • Work closely with Data Scientists to build and test POCs using latest and advanced machine learning libraries and solutions.

  • Design and implement tools and processes for the entire ML Ops including, model deployment, model serving, model monitoring and experimentation.

  • Implement end to end highly available and efficient ML Ops and ETL pipelines in a distributed computing environment

What experience you need  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years experience in application development as per SDLC

  • 5+ years strong development experience in Python and JAVA (plus)

  • 3+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform services - BigQuery, Data Flow, Composer

  • 3+ years experience with container development, management and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes

  • 3+ years experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins

What could set you apart

  • Experience with Airflow would be a plus

  • Experience with Data Engineering (data warehousing, ETL)

  • Strong Proficiencies in Git, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Rest API Framewo, Linux.
