The Account Receivable Collection Specialist will be in charge of the analysis of delinquent customer issues, develop solutions and implement action plans to resolve delinquencies in a timely and effective manner. Providing customer service regarding collections issues and escalating and refund requests or account adjustments. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls and emails. Enlist the efforts of sales, client relations team, project managers and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process. Must communicate & follow up effectively with clients, sales dept., client relations team and project managers.
What you’ll do
Handle specific accounts and past due invoices (small to large clients)
Contact clients via telephone and email to ensure payments
Review and maintain daily activities of collections
Maintain accurate and up to date collection notes
Assist with special projects and requests as needed
Update client accounts based on payment or contact information
Handle data entry and general clerical tasks
What experience you need
1-2 years of collections, customer service or call center experience
High School Diploma or GED
