Business Development Manager


We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join our growing Debt Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to drive sales in a fast expanding market. Reporting to the Sales Director , you will be developing new prospects through the entire sales process from first engagement to negotiation and closing.

What you’ll do 

  • Identify and qualify new opportunities through outbound sales, inbound enquiries and industry events

  • Deliver client presentations and demos on our market leading Debt Services solutions to maximum effect

  • Negotiate and close new contracts with customers

  • Manage sales pipeline and forecasting 

  • Work with your peers in the Equifax Sales Team in order to drive new clients through pipeline to close

  • Become a subject matter expert on Open Banking

What experience you need 

  • Strong B2B sales experience in software or data; preferably in debt/financial services

  • Intermediate experience and proven record of exceeding / meeting revenue targets

  • Good experience of capturing clients’ objectives and requirements in order to  develop strong relationships

  • Good experience of adapting and understanding a wide range of growing products and services

What could set you apart

  • Knowledge of Recovery & Collections

  • Knowledge of TDX Group & Equifax Products

  • Experience of working for a Credit Bureau or Industry reseller
